Vascular Surgery opening in El Paso, TXFull-Time & PermanentSeeking a BE/BC Vascular Surgeon to join the group. The vein clinic is established and open for 4 years. The existing surgeon retired thus leaving a vacancy. New Vascular surgeons do not have to do vein clinic if they do not want. There are no other vascular surgeons in El Paso so this is an opportunity for 2 new vascular surgeons to become the leaders in the community/structure their practice the way they want to.- Now considering J1 candidates for 2027 - Hospital Employed- Replacing retired surgeon- Monday through Friday- 1-2 Surgical days per week, 8-10 procedures per week- 3 days clinic per week, 10-15 patients per day- 1:4 Call (1:5 when another surgeon is hired)- Call at four facilities (Concurrent); Vein clinic if interested. No call for vein clinic; Vascular needs depending on volumes and surgical load. We assumed approximately 7 phone calls per day (from the 4 campuses) and 8 in-person responses per week (just over 1/day, on average).- Majority surgical patients outpatient status; could consult on in-patient as needed- Vein Clinic available if interested.- Vein clinic established and open for 4 years.- Salary guarantee plus wRVUs.- New Vascular surgeons do not have to do vein clinic if they do not want. - There is one vascular surgeon with the county hospital and there are 3 other vascular surgeons in El Paso but they are with the military so this is an opportunity for 2 new vascular surgeons to become the leaders in the community/structure their practice the way they want to.Location:Where Texas begins is where you find El Paso, a vibrant city with stunning sunsets.
