Summary This position is located at USAG Ansbach - MWR, Katterbach Bowling Center, Ansbach, Germany. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Learn more about this agency Duties Performs routine maintenance on mechanical and electrical bowling equipment, components and assemblies. Adjusts equipment in accordance with guidance provided by and identifies potential malfunctions to the Bowling Equipment Repairer. Assists the Bowling Equipment Repairer in making repairs, adjusting equipment and related duties. Cleans and maintains the bowling facility by replacing light bulbs; making minor repairs to vacuum cleaners, buffers, etc.; scrubbing, washing and polishing floors, walls and other surfaces. Assisting in stocking, inventory, and related duties in the bowling facility. Requirements Conditions of employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one-year probationary period may be required. Possesses satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-13, to include a Tier 1 background investigation. Lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 pounds. Moves large items weighing up to 100 pounds. Works in awkward positions. Work is indoors. Work area is usually noisy. May be required to wear protective clothing. Must be willing and able to work evenings, weekends, and Special MWR events. This position may require a health screening. Immunizations may be required as a condition of employment for the health and safety of those in the facility. Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). Be able to lift and carry large items weighing up to 100 pounds. 2. Possess work experience or training in the use of electrical test equipment and wiring diagrams. 3. Allowances and Differentials This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week - whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM.
