Breast Surgeon in Louisiana Located in Covington, LA 40 miles to New Orleans, LA JOB SUMMARY: Full time, permanent Diagnoses and treats patients with breast disease including surgical and medical management. Coordinates care with referring physicians and collaborates with other providers. JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 WORK SHIFT: Clinic hours will be Mon-Thurs (8:00a - 5:00p) and Fri (8:30a - 3:00p). MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: MD and completion of General Surgery Residency. Fellowship training or specialized practice focus in breast disease. Must be licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners to practice medicine. Must be a member of the St. Tammany Health System Medical Staff. Board Certification in General Surgery.
