Interventional Cardiology Opening in New Mexico Located in Roswell, NM 200 miles to Albuquerque J1 Eligible Medical group is seeking a Cardiologist to join its team. Multispecialty medical group consisting of four clinics and a staff of over 100 serving Southeastern New Mexico. Duties: Provide specialized medical care to patients with cardiac and cardiovascular disorders. Examine, diagnose, assess and treat patients, and make professional medical judgments for specialized, non-surgical, interventional cardiology treatment and care, including the use of catheters threaded through a patients blood vessels to repair damaged heart valves and clear clogged arteries. Interface with other physicians and health care professionals as needed, and manage physician/patient relationship, including patient complaint resolution. Participate in educational programs and literature review for professional development. Requirements: M.D. or D.O. degree in field of medicine; completion of three-year residency in Internal Medicine, three-year fellowship in Cardiology or Cardiovascular Medicine, and one-year fellowship in Interventional Cardiology; and New Mexico license to practice medicine. Medical group provides our Medical Oncologist / Hematologists and our Rheumatologists with the accompanying medical infusion care. Internal Medicine and Family Medicine physicians are taking appointments in Roswell. Radiology and Laboratory services are available in Roswell. In SE New Mexico.
