No call coverage required. Shift Times: 6a-2p, 9a-6p, 1p-10p, 3p-11p, 4p-10p, 9p-6a Candidate Parameters: Certifications: ABEM required Experience: Minimum of 3 years suggested Credentialing: Emergency Privileges: Yes Case Logs: Not required Emergency Privileges or Temps: Yes Orientation: Conducted on the first day of the assignment Facility Information: Beds: 50 Census: 128 Patients per Hour: 1.95 PPH Daily Admissions: 28 Patient Population: Diverse, includes common emergency cases such as chest pain, abdominal pain, and altered mental status Trauma Center: Level 3 Support Staff: Fully staffed ED RNs, 32 hours of APP coverage per day Annual ER Admissions: 11,286 Technological Support: Tele Psych and Tele-neurology available Specific Requirements: Procedures Required: ACLS and ATLS procedures Support Staff Includes: 32 hours of APP coverage per day Average Patient Census: 130 patients per day Common Cases: Chest pain, abdominal pain, altered mental status EM Physicians per Shift: 2 This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician looking to provide locum tenens coverage at a well-equipped facility.
