Job Description
DUTIES: Contribute to the team responsible for creating and delivering analysis, analytical products, strategic recommendations, and actionable insights for leaders within the functional areas of the business; use SAS, R, or Python coding for statistical modeling and machine learning; use Natural Language Processing (NLP); gather and query data using SQL; create statistical or mathematical functions for impact analysis, hypothesis testing, behavioral analysis, operational analysis, or sensitivity testing; translate statistical analysis using Tableau, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and ThinkCell; utilize methodology and baselining tools to measure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); conduct advanced analysis based on provided requirements; incorporate standard best practices for industry measurement and KPIs, gauging statistical significance; execute validation checks, including data element inconsistencies; work with leadership to implement solutions; partner with DQ/architecture to shape requirements and communicate needs; ensure automations are structured to meet business goals; produce reports, graphs, summaries, and presentations that convey analytic results and align with business needs; translate methodology and technical elements; and use JIRA to track tasks and projects.
REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field; and working knowledge of (or a Bachelor's degree in any of the above fields and two (2) years of experience with) SAS, R, or Python coding for statistical modeling and machine learning; using Natural Language Processing (NLP); gathering and querying data using SQL; creating statistical and mathematical functions for impact analysis, hypothesis testing, behavioral analysis, operational analysis, and sensitivity testing; translating statistical analysis using Tableau, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and ThinkCell; and utilizing methodology and baselining tools to measure KPIs. Working knowledge can be gained through experience, education, training or any suitable combination thereof
