Summary Who: USAG Japan Child and Youth Services What: USAG Japan Youth Workforce Preparation Program Hiring Fair When: Thursday, May 7 2026 and Friday, May 8, 2026 from 1500-1800 Where: Camp Zama Youth Center, Bldg. 744 Why: Please pick up a packet at Camp Zama Youth Center. Learn more about this agency Duties Duties may include: Greeting customers; answering telephone and taking/delivering messages; filing; preparing labels, envelopes, or simple forms; operating a copy or fax machine; sorting and stapling documents; or organizing office supplies. May assist higher-level employees with more detailed tasks. May perform other closely related duties as assigned. Under close supervision, performs a variety of simple, routine clerical and office support duties. Requirements Conditions of employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one-year probationary period may be required. Must be 18 years of age or older at time of appointment or placement into the position. Parental/Guardian Consent Statement (if under 18 years of age). May require light physical effort. Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. No experience required. These positions are: CYS Youth Workforce WPP Position is temporary not to exceed 12 weeks from the effective date of employment, and up to 10 guaranteed hours per week. Effective start date 9 July 2026. Not to exceed 10 hours per week. Located at various CYS Services Facilities within USAG Japan and Is funded by the Installation Management Command, G9, Youth Workforce Preparation Program (WPP). The WPP focuses on Youth career development through a developmental program designed to provide on the job work experience and a training plan that include a website for the participants to maximize the career exploration experience. The website offers an interest survey where participants may learn about different careers that match their current interests and talents. Participants will also have an opportunity to identify additional training or college requirements for the different careers they may have an interest in exploring. Overall, the WPP will provide participants with support and guidance in improving their employability skills. The Job Fair is held Thursday, May 7, 2026 and Friday, May 8, 2026 from 1500-1800 at Camp Zama Youth Center, Building 744. The following must be presented at the job fair: Job Application Resume(s) Copy of social security card and Copy of photo/visa page of passport ***No electronic applications will be accepted.*** Please dress professionally and come prepared with a copy of your resume, passport (first page) and page with SOFA stamp (or entry slip), PCS orders and Social Security Card. Allowances and Differentials This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
