Summary About the Position: This is position is be hired for the Denver-Aurora, CO area. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Advanced In-Hire may be authorized. Advanced Leave Accrual may be authorized. Learn more about this agency Duties Provides guidance and advises on matters related to the implementation and operational oversight. Performs, reviews, special analyses, studies, and evaluations of the operational requirements necessary for the integrated direct and private sector care delivery of health care. Actively participates in MCSC market operational meetings and provides policy interpretation and guidance. Assists in the identification, analysis, evaluation and monitoring of Business Plan improvement opportunities under the MHS programs. Supports the development of Business Plans through analysis of health services data. Requirements Conditions of employment Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing guidance to stakeholders on healthcare delivery processes; analyzing policy to make recommendations; and implementing changes to improve healthcare delivery. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
