Summary This position is located at the Child Development Center on Malmstrom AFB . This position is regular full time and eligible for benefits; this would include Health, Dental, 401K, Life Insurance and Retirement. Must be physically able to frequently lit objects weighing up to 40 pounds. All applicants MUST possess a current state driver's license. This is a Drug Tested Designated Position. Learn more about this agency Requirements Conditions of Employment This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results. This position has physical lifting requirement which requires the incumbent to complete a favorable pre-employment physical. This position requires the incumbent to be able to obtain, maintain, and provide evidence of current immunizations this includes annual influenza vaccinations and be free of all communicable diseases. This position requires the incumbent to complete assigned training, to include Food Handlers certification, within specified time from date hire or assignment to position. Must possess a valid driver's license and driving record in good standing. Qualifications Who May Apply: Open to everyone. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Supervisory experience desirable, but experience obtained as a cook leader is an acceptable substitute, and the experience must have been gained in a restaurant, club, cafeteria, or similar establishment. Must have experience in and knowledge of food preparation principles and characteristics of food, and of planning processes to ensure entire meals are prepared and cooked on time. Knowledge of the procedures to order, issue and store food. Computer skills required. Must be physically able to frequently lift objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Must be able to continuously stand, walk, stoop, reach, push, pull and bend for long periods of time. Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate. Subject to satisfactory completion of a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position DOES NOT allow for education substitution.
