Outpatient Opportunity in Texas

Start Date: Early 2025Assignment Length: 3-4 months, with option to extendSpecialty: Family Practice Physician/Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)/Physician Assistant We are urgently seeking Family Practice Physicians and APPs for an outpatient assignment in Texas. These positions offer an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality care in a collaborative and fast-paced environment while addressing the healthcare needs of Austin's diverse community. Position Details: Schedule: Full-time, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7 AM or 8 AM start). Expectation: 36 patient encounters per day, up to 48 during peak times (3-4 patients per hour). Responsibilities: Acute illnesses and chronic bridging care. Direct patient care with administrative time provided for unfinished charts. No on-call duties. Possibility of working at multiple locations within system and will get mileage reimbursement if having to travel between sites throughout shift. EMR: EPIC. Support Staff: Supervising physician (on-call or on-site as needed), MAs, RNs, and front office team. Requirements: Experience: Must be comfortable managing high patient volumes and delivering efficient, high-quality care. Credentials: Drug screens required; 3-4 week credentialing process. Travel: Preference for local candidates, but travel and lodging are available (capped). Mileage reimbursement for inter-site travel during shifts.
