**Infectious Disease Opening in New Mexico** -Located in Roswell, New Mexico. -Full Time & Permanent Position. **Duties:** Diagnose and treat patients 18 years and older with wide range of contagious or communicable illnesses caused by bacteria, viruses, parasites, and fungi that enter the body, multiply, and can cause an infection. On out-patient basis, determine nature and extent of disease or disorder using diagnostic imaging and tests. Prescribe medication, consult with other health care professionals, and refer patients to specialists as needed. Advise patients on disease prevention and health promotion. Manage patient complaint resolution. Participate in educational programs and literature review for professional development. **Requirements:** Doctor of Medicine (M.D.); three-year residency in internal medicine; two-year residency in infectious disease; and New Mexico License to practice medicine.
