ALTEN Mexico is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Special Accountant Analyst ADV to join our team. As a Special Accountant Analyst ADV, you will play a critical role in the financial operations of our company. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and providing accurate and timely financial reports.

Responsibilities:

• Key Responsibilities (Capitalization & Amortization)
• Lead full analysis and accounting for Capitalization and Amortization by vehicle and segment.
• Ledger and Subledger tie offs for Stellantis Legal Entity requirements; and Purchase Price Accounting.
• Monthly alignment with Fixed Asset Accounting and R&D (dates to start - stop Capitalization and Amortization)
• Maintaining master database.
• Accounting Close – Ledger Reviews, Journal Vouchers preparation, FP&A Assessments, Period to Period Variance explanations, Trend Analysis, Blackline Reconciliations, Briefing Book support, SOX Controls, along with quarterly audits (internal and external) Impairment testing
• Forecast/Budget/MTP – Support by Program Capitalization/Amortization calendarization, Regional Amortization Allocation, Management reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Accounting, finance or similar
• 5 YOE
• Excellent communication skills;
• Ability to interact with/present to executive management and present a point-of-view with facts
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to question items
• Investigate/analyze independently
• Propose solutions to management
• Manage multiple priorities/work-streams
• Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of core Finance or Accounting experience, with the
• Ability to forecast, and report actuals through the monthly close process.
• Superior navigation and comprehensive knowledge of PentaSAP
• Excellent knowledge or experience in HFM / Semplice (Sempcube)
• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookup, etc.) and PowerPoint
• Preferred Qualifications
• MBA or CPA or equivalent
• Prior analyst experience
• Experience in maintaining SOX compliance
• Experience in the Automotive Industry is a plus
