Duties
Serves as the focal point of the World Wide Web (www) for the social networking (i.e., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Bebo, etc.) and marketing of services and programs.
Works closely with supervisor, higher level managers and officials, marketing staff, and information technology specialists in applying and implementing electronic (e-commerce) initiatives for the purpose of marketing programs and services on-line.
Applies marketing concepts and knowledge as well as knowledge of current social trends and technology advancements to the internet.
Provides advice to decision makers in setting goals and establishing priorities to support the organizational mission.
Ensures that all content displayed is fully accessible and conforms to higher level and regulatory requirements.

Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
A one-year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, Chapter 2.
Environmental requirements, licenses, background checks, etc.
Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, Chapter 2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
Driver's license required.
Qualifications
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.
A qualified candidate must possess the following:
Experience in marketing and/or advertising.
Knowledge of the World Wide Web system and private enterprise technological processes for developing and utilizing social networking for e-commerce purposes.
Must possess organizational skills and be able to work quickly in an e-commerce environment.
Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
Must be able to work under pressure to meet project deadlines and specific tasks.
Must have strong communication skills.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":
Experience in the Hospitality industry.
Bachelors degree in Marketing or related field. *Transcripts must be submitted at the time of application.

PCS Costs
Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs may be authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is in the Government's interest.
Allowances and Differentials
This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will be paid, contingent upon eligibility. COLA is currently 1.49% and subject to change without notice.
