Locums Gastroenterologist Hospitalist Physician

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist Hospitalist Physician to provide inpatient coverage in Neptune City, NJ. This role involves managing and providing high-quality care to patients with gastrointestinal conditions, performing essential procedures, and collaborating with an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive inpatient care to adult patients with gastrointestinal conditions. The physician will perform procedures such as Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) and colonoscopy. The daily patient volume ranges from 25-35 patients.  The work schedule includes shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays and weekends, with overnight pager coverage on weekends.Qualifications:Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.Active and unrestricted New Jersey medical license.Proficient in performing EGD and colonoscopy procedures.Neptune City, NJ, combines the charm of a small town with the amenities of a larger city, making it a desirable place to live, work, and visit.
