Willamette Valley Medical Center, located in the picturesque region of western Oregon, is seeking to add a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our inpatient behavioral health unit. About the Position: Behavioral Health Unit: Currently features 10 beds, with plans for expansion. Experience Required: Previous experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is essential. Remote Psychiatrist Support: Available to assist as needed. Schedule: Monday to Friday with shared call responsibilities, supplemented by Tele-Psych services. Responsibilities: Conduct new admissions. Provide daily patient care in the behavioral health unit. Evaluate and manage psychiatric patients on the inpatient unit. Provide psychiatric consults for medical-surgical patients. Collaborative Environment: Work alongside a team of treatment professionals, including RNs, Behavioral Health Techs, Social Workers, and Activity Therapists.
