Locum - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Join our team in New Hampton, IA, as a Locum CRNA providing anesthesia services in a dynamic healthcare setting. This position involves 8-hour shifts with flexibility, focusing on surgical cases including cataracts, general surgery (adult and pediatric), minor nerve blocks, and various anesthesia techniques.  In this role, you will administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures, including cataract surgeries, colonoscopies, EGDs, carpal tunnel procedures, and other surgical interventions. You will also be responsible for performing IV regional anesthesia, spinal anesthesia (particularly for total knee replacements), and other regional anesthesia techniques as required. Additionally, you will manage ventilation and closely monitor patients throughout procedures to ensure their safety and comfort.Qualifications:Certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) is required.Active Iowa state nursing license, maintaining compliance with state regulations.BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications.COVID vaccination requiredNew Hampton, IA, is a welcoming community with a blend of small-town charm, economic vitality, and natural beauty, making it an appealing place to live and visit in Iowa.
