Urgent Care APP needed for MASS

Urgent Care Physician or APP (PA/NP) – Outpatient – Flexible Schedule – Worcester/Oxford, MA We are seeking a Physician (MD/DO), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA) with urgent care or emergency medicine experience to join a high-functioning outpatient urgent care clinic in the Worcester/Oxford area. The position offers a flexible rotating schedule and the opportunity to work with a collaborative, supportive care team. Position Highlights: ·        Setting: Outpatient Urgent Care – No Trauma ·        Volume: 20–30 patients per shift ·        Support Staff: 2 providers per shift with nursing, medical assistants, and front desk administrative support ·        EMR: EPIC ·        Credentialing: Medical staff appointment only (no hospital privileges) · On-Call: None Duties & Procedures: ·        Provide acute care for walk-in patients of all ages (majority adult) ·        Common procedures: suturing, wound care, buddy taping ·        No OB/GYN or trauma responsibilities Schedule (Rotating 2-Week Blocks): ·        Week 1: Wednesday & Friday (8:00 AM–7:00 PM), Saturday (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) ·        Week 2: Sunday (8:00 AM–5:00 PM), Tuesday & Wednesday (8:00 AM–7:00 PM) ·        Week 3: Repeat of Week 1 ·        Week 4: Repeat of Week 2 Requirements: ·        Active Massachusetts medical license ·        Current DEA and MA CSR ·        Prior urgent care or ED experience required ·        Must be comfortable practicing independently ·        Strong procedural skills Additional Information: - Specialty: - Location: - Contact: About the Company: We pride ourselves on being a different kind of locums group.
