Locums Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

We are looking for a dedicated Locums Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Petoskey, MI. This position involves a unique schedule of 10 consecutive days of concurrent night and day shifts per month. The role includes an 8-hour on-site, inpatient shift followed by on-call coverage for the remainder of the day.As a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner, your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive inpatient care. This includes supporting surgeries in the operating room, conducting hospital rounds (including ICU), and being available for on-call duties. Vein harvesting is a required procedure for this role, emphasizing your critical involvement in cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures.Qualifications:·         Board Certified as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner·         Active Michigan state license; not accepting IMLC.·         Required COVID-19 vaccination.·         Preferred experience in cardiovascular or thoracic surgery, including ICU experience.
