General Surgery and Surgical Subspecialty Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to provide weekend coverage for General Surgery and Surgical Subspecialty services at our facility in Edison, NJ. This position involves working night shifts from 7 PM to 8 AM, focusing on managing patient care during the weekend.In this role, you will provide comprehensive care for patients within the general surgery and surgical subspecialty units. The typical patient load is approximately 40 patients per shift. You will work closely with the surgical team to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes. While chest tube placement is preferred, it is not a requirement for this role. Additionally, there is no involvement with endoscopy, laparoscopy, vascular, or trauma surgeries. Qualifications: Active Nurse Practitioner license. Valid DEA and CDS certificates. Experience in a surgical setting is preferred.
