Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a current state driver's license.
Must complete an approved Accident-Avoidance Course (AAC).
Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical.
Qualifications
About the Position: This position is with the Joint Munitions Command located at McAlester, Oklahoma. This position serves as Packing Inspector ensuring that products meet quality standards and are packed correctly.

There is no specific length of training or experience required. However, you must be able to demonstrate, through experience shown in your written application materials that you possess the sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the work of this position without more than normal supervision.
Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Packing Inspector ~ without more than normal supervision. Must possess the ability to perform packing methods and techniques to inspect work to ensue personal property met government requirements. Monitored loading and unloading techniques, and prepared and process shipping documents. - Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
Working Conditions:
Work is generally performed inside, in areas that are well lighted, heated, and ventilated. May occasionally work outside or in areas that are drafty, hot, and poorly lighted. Work is sometimes dusty, dirty, and greasy, and there is exposure to possibility of cuts, scrapes, and bruises. Work requires intermittent sitting and standing for several hours at a time while performing inspecting and record keeping duties. May occasionally be required to climb, bend, squat, kneel, and lift items weighing up to 40 pounds.

Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
One year trial/probationary period may be required.
Direct Deposit of Pay is required.
