Learn more about this agency Duties For a Project Manager (Management and Program Analyst), specific duties vary by hiring agency. Examples may include: Manage projects from initiation through closeout, defining scope, schedules, and deliverables to achieve mission-aligned results using Agile or Lean Six Sigma methods. Analyze and redesign workflows to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance service delivery through tools such as process mapping, DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control), and control charts. Evaluate organizational operations using qualitative and quantitative techniques. Develop performance metrics and dashboards to measure results and recommend improvements. Collect, analyze, and interpret data using tools like Microsoft Power BI to inform leadership decisions and monitor key performance indicators. Create data visualizations using tools like Microsoft Power BI to convey results, display trends, and monitor key performance indicators. Support change management efforts by coordinating communication, training, and stakeholder input to ensure smooth adoption of new systems or policies. Identify opportunities to streamline operations, institutionalize best practices, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and ongoing improvement. Your resume must include relevant project management experience that reflects this selective placement factor. AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you possess the specialized experience for the grade level to which you are applying. Specialized Experience: Must have at least one year (52 weeks, full-time) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service (or comparable level of experience from outside the Federal service) performing ALL of the following duties: Managing change management activities such as developing communications and training materials, coordinating stakeholder feedback, and/or monitoring readiness metrics to ensure smooth adoption of new business processes; and Participating in business process reengineering initiatives such as mapping workflows, analyzing operational data, managing expenses, and/or making recommendations to improve efficiency; and Coordinating project team tasks such as monitoring deliverables, mentoring peers to promote collaboration, and/or aligning project objectives with organizational goals.
