Learn more about this agency Duties Sweep, mop, vacuum floors, and disinfect surfaces like desks, countertops, and high-touch areas. Clean toilets, sinks, and mirrors; restock supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels. Empty trash and recycling bins, replace liners, and dispose of waste properly. Perform deeper maintenance like waxing, buffing, or shampooing carpets to keep floors in good condition. Handle small repairs (like changing light bulbs) and reporting on issues such as leaks, broken pipes etc. Requirements Conditions of employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one-year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Willing to work a schedule that includes holidays and weekends. Appointment subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para .2. Complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities. Must be able to lift 20 to 40 lbs, and occasionally over 50. A physical and health assessment is required. Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). Qualification Requirements: Applicant must have knowledge, skills and ability to perform the duties listed above to include the ability to use and maintain the tools and equipment of the trade, to keep the assigned work area neat and clean, and to communicate both orally and in writing. Allowances and Differentials This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week -- whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 pm MST. Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
