Summary
OIG is organized into six operational units: the Immediate Office of the Inspector General, Office of the Counselor, Office of Audits and Evaluations, Office of Healthcare Inspections, Office of Investigations, and Office of Management and Administration. In addition to the Washington, DC, headquarters, OIG has offices located in more than 60 locations throughout the country.

Duty locations are limited to the following for this position: Aurora, CO; Austin, TX; Baltimore, MD; Bay Pines, FL; Dallas, TX; Hines, IL; Kansas City, MO; Las Vegas, NV; Pittsburgh, PA; San Diego, CA; Seattle, WA; Spokane, WA; Trenton, NJ; or Washington, DC. Current OIG Employees will remain at their current duty location.
As an Information Technology (IT) Specialist (ENTARCH), you will:
Provide authoritative leadership, direction, and governance over the development, implementation, and enforcement of OIG's enterprise architecture framework.
Provide oversight of enterprise systems design, infrastructure modernization, cloud and hybrid architecture environments, data architecture, and interoperability across OIG IT platforms.
Ensure enterprise architecture alignment with capital planning and investment control processes, business case development, cost-benefit analysis, and long-range IT strategic planning.
Serve as the expert advisor for staff and contractor subject matter experts (SMEs) within OIG on matters pertaining to enterprise architecture, systems design, infrastructure modernization, cloud and hybrid environments, cybersecurity integration, data governance, and long-range IT strategy.

Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience or General experience for this position includes:
Establishing or enforcing enterprise architecture principles, standards, or reference models; AND
Reviewing system designs, modernization proposals, or IT investments for architectural alignment; AND
Developing current-state, target-state, or transition architectures; AND
Integrating cybersecurity, interoperability, or data architecture requirements into enterprise designs; AND
Advising leadership on enterprise risks such as fragmentation, technical debt, duplicative systems, vendor lock-in, or security vulnerabilities; AND
Briefing stakeholders/executive leadership on architecture, modernization, or enterprise IT strategy.
In addition to meeting specialized experience, applicants must also show proficiency in 1) attention to detail, 2) customer service, 3) oral communication, and 4) problem solving.

Conditions of Employment (CONTINUED):
- A one year probationary period may be required. Continued employment is contingent upon supervisory certification that continued employment will benefit the Federal Service; the certification will occur no less than 30 days before the end of the probationary/trial period.
- Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required.
- If you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959, certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so.
- Have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.

- Obtain and use a Government-issued purchase card for business-related travel.
- File a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report within 30 days of appointment and annually from then on.
