**Family Medicine Core Faculty Physician Opening in Oregon** -Located in Corvallis, OR. Family Medicine core faculty members have a multitude of responsibilities related to clinical delivery and academic expectations. It is expected that the core faculty member allocates 60 percent of their time, 24 hours per week, to residency core faculty duties (academic) and 12 hours per week of patient scheduled practice (clinical). **Academic Job Specifics** -Provide adequate levels of supervision to residents in the clinical setting appropriate to their level of competency and training. -Collaborate with the Program Director to ensure that the administration of the residency program is within accreditation standards, that residency graduates are eligible for board certification, and the program is utilizing resources in a prospective and cost-efficient manner. -Curriculum development, coordination and implementation and presentation of didactics and educational sessions. -Facilitate the majority of these educational conferences with contributions from other family medicine faculty, community faculty members or specialty faculty as appropriate. -Engage in any or all areas of scholarship and promotion of inquiry.
