Locums Gastroenterologist Physician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Locums Gastroenterology Physician to join our team in West Jordan, UT. This position involves working in an outpatient clinic setting and providing high-quality care for a variety of general gastroenterology cases. The locum tenens assignment requires coverage for 20-25 days per month, with a work schedule from Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. The physician will be responsible for performing various procedures, including esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), endoscopic variceal sclerotherapy (EVS), and other general gastroenterology cases. You will work collaboratively with a dedicated support staff, including Medical Assistants (MA), Registered Nurses (RN), Echo Technicians, Lab Technicians, Nuclear Technicians, and X-ray Technicians. The ability to accurately and efficiently document patient care using the Epic EMR system is essential.   Requirements:   Board Certification in Gastroenterology Completion of a Gastroenterology Fellowship Active Utah medical license (highly preferred) Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Active DEA license Strong experience in performing a variety of gastroenterology procedures in an outpatient clinic setting Familiarity with the Epic EMR system West Jordan is a vibrant city located in the Salt Lake Valley, Utah, offering a mix of suburban comfort and urban convenience.
