Summary

Duties
This position is location in the Office of the Director, Curatorial department. This position will:
Responsible for exhibition, rotation and special project-related procurements for staff. Orders goods and services requested by staff through the purchase card program and financial management system.
Assists in planning and procurement of travel for all conservation and scientific research departments, as well as for visiting scholars and workshop participants.
Manages the payment of invoices for contractors. Follows up on orders to ensure expedient delivery and completion. Runs reports
of deobligations. Performs comprehensive research on suppliers and market conditions to optimize purchasing strategies and ensures adherence to budgetary constraints.
Assists with information management using enterprise technology tools. Supports special projects for conservation and scientific research.
Supports planning, manages execution and delivers division programs and events, collaborating with others on logistics.
Orchestrates logistics – including submitting service orders for audiovisual, facilities and attendee support – and ensures efficient follow-up.

Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE AT THE GS-11 LEVEL:
For the GS-11, your resume must demonstrate at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Completing orders with purchase card program and financial management system;
Assisting with travel plans for organization employees and guests;
Managing contractor invoices and payments; AND
Using Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Wrike, OneNote, and Atlassian JIRA
OR
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
LL.M., if related
