**Pediatric opening in Minnesota** Located in Red Wing, MN 50 miles to Minneapolis, MN The Division of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine in Red Wing, Minnesota is seeking a board certified/eligible pediatrician to join a practice of 3 board-certified pediatricians. The ideal candidate will have an interest in medical education, research and clinical work. The pediatricians will have the opportunity to evaluate and treat children and adolescents with acute and chronic medical conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Skill required in conducting comprehensive evaluation of patients; performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures; assessing patient status relative to hospital admissions and discharges; prescribe medications and treatments; consult with colleagues on patient management and treatment plans; and participate in call rotations. - Call rotation of 1:6 - 4-5 days per week averaging 18-20 patients per day - Pediatric nurse phone triage available - Serves approximately 350 births with 25 pediatric admissions annually - Epic EHR - Regular teaching opportunities - Ongoing clinical quality and research opportunities Site Description: Red Wing, Minnesota, home to around 16,000 citizens, is a Mississippi river town that offers outdoor adventure with scenic landscapes while also providing creative vibes of live entertainment, quaint retail, and unique dining locales.
