Summary This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Science & Technology Directorate (S&T), Chief Information Office (CIO), Office of Enterprise Services (OES). The primary purpose of this position is performing work that ensures the ongoing availability, confidentiality, and integrity of systems, networks, and data through the maintenance and enhancement of information systems security programs. Qualifications Specialized Experience: You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal government, performing duties such as: 1) Managing programs/projects related to IT networking and/or information assurance, as well as other relevant area of responsibility. 2) Leading cybersecurity engineering initiatives which include developing IT infrastructure solutions that aligns with zero trust principles and securing cloud environments with best practices and governance regulatory requirements. 3) Monitoring and evaluating the zero-trust integration's performance, making necessary adjustments to adapt to evolving security threats and business needs. Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level. All qualifications and eligibility requirements must be met by the closing date of the announcement. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
