Locums Physiatrist (PM&R) Physician

Seeking a Locums PM&R Physician in Hartford CT.    The responsibilities for this role include performing discharge summaries and maintaining medical records for patients. You will actively participate in clinical staffing and care plan meetings to ensure comprehensive patient care. Additionally, documenting weekly care plans in adherence to established guidelines and reviewing pre-admission screenings following CMS guidelines are crucial tasks. Prescribing narcotics as clinically indicated and conducting Physical Ability Performance Evaluations (PAPE) along with comprehensive History & Physical (H&P) assessments are also part of your duties. Qualifications: Board certification or eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R). ACLS certification is mandatory for this role. Possession of a current Connecticut Medical License. DEA registration for prescription privileges. ACLS certification. Board Certification in PM&R.
