Description Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide services based on the physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and other related criteria appropriate population in his/her assigned area Maintains required core competencies. Complies with set Policies and Procedures (i.e. name tag, dress code, parking, smoking, etc.) Makes rounds in all patient care units to ascertain condition of patients, evaluate staffing needs, maximizes staffing efficiency while working to minimize overtime house wide. Provide support to care givers. Coordinates patient throughput via bed assignment and timely admission of patient to receiving department. Act as the hospital resource for support services and departments. Keeps department director and CNO informed regarding circumstances or situations, which have or may have serious impact. Participates in 2 or more committees. Adheres to Absenteeism policy. Participates and assists in the planning and providing of in-service education programs within the hospital or other meetings, seminars or institutes conducted outside the hospital. Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
