Merit Health River Region (361-bed facility) in Vicksburg, Mississippi, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon to join its established, hospital-employed general surgery group. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collegial, well-supported practice offering a balanced mix of cases and a strong referral base.Position Highlights: Hospital-employed position with established support staff  Call schedule: 10 days per month Bread-and-butter general surgery with opportunity for additional case variety Da Vinci robot available Office space located on the hospital campus for convenience New graduates and experienced surgeons encouraged to applyCompensation & Benefits OverviewCompensation: Months 1–24: Guaranteed income of the greater of $415,000 annually or $58 per wRVU, ensuring strong earning potential from day one. Commencement Bonus: $50,000 paid upon start.Call Structure: Required Call: 10 days per month. Additional Call Pay: Earn $1,000 per day for each call day beyond 5 uncompensated days.
