Summary
This vacancy will be used to fill openings at the Iron Mike Conference Center on Fort Bragg, NC.
Incentives and Bonuses
Incentives will not be paid.
Army NAF pay setting rules apply to this vacancy.
Duties
Performs routine duties of servicing banquets either by providing for set menu banquets or taking individual orders.
This position is basically waiter work, with fewer procedure requirements than those involved in positions in restaurant, cafe or bar operations.
Involved in setting up and breaking down banquet settings and replenishing beverages.

Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
A one-year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
Stands, walks, and stoops and stretches, usually for long period of time, handling food and beverage trays and good containers, seldom weighing more than 40 pounds.
Work primarily indoors in areas that usually have adequate light and ventilation. Danger of slipping on wet or polished floors. May occasionally work outdoors during seasonal functions.
Ability to work an irregular work schedule which includes nights, weekends, holidays, and split-shifts.
Must meet to local age restriction (18 years old or older) for selling and serving alcoholic beverages.
Qualifications
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.
A qualified candidate must possess the following:
Must meet the state/local age requirement for the serving of alcoholic beverages.
No prior training or work experience required.
Applicants must be able to follow simple oral and/or written instructions.

Area of Consideration
This job is open to candidates who is within the Local / Surrounding Commuting Area. NOTE: Local / Surrounding Commuting area is defines as within 50 miles of Fort. Bragg. (Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration.

PCS Costs
Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
Allowances and Differentials
This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week -- whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM.
Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid.
