Neurocritical Care Physician Opening in Hartford, CT (Permanent) Connecticuts largest integrated health care system, is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Neurocritical Care Physician to join our growing Neurocritical Care team at Hartford Hospital, an 867-bed tertiary care academic medical center, which houses the highest volume stroke center in New England. Position Highlights: Join a dedicated Neurocritical Care Team: Work with neurocritical care specialists, advanced practitioners, certified neurocritical care nurses, and neuroscience residents in a state-of-the-art Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit. Facilities: 23-bed Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit, a 9-bed Neuro Step-Down Unit, and an 18-bed Neuroscience patient-care floor. Advanced Care: Provide care for over 1,750 neurosurgeries annually and work within one of the few Neurocritical Care programs offering a follow-up Neurorecovery Clinic. Neurovascular Expertise: Participate in the full spectrum of neurovascular care, including stroke and aneurysm treatments using endovascular and intracranial surgery. Accreditations: Hartford Hospital is a Joint-Commission certified Comprehensive Stroke Center and a Level I Trauma Center.
