Hospitalist position in the home of the University of Wisconsin Badgers. This is a physician-led, nonprofit health care organization. The state capital of Wisconsin.7 on / 7 off position .  10-hour admitting shifts; staggered: 11a-9p, 12p-10p, 3p-1a, 6-hour admitting shift; 5p-11p, Overnights; 9p-7a; there are dedicated Nocturnists.  Open ICU with intensivist availability to consult.  Full spectrum of specialty support available.  Average census of 13-15.  No required procedures; option to do some limited ultrasound procedures.  Hospitalists are primary responders for codes unless intensivist takes over.  Overnight shifts covered by Nocturnists/Telehospitalists.  Average of 30 admits per day.  Shift based compensation with performance incentive and wRVU kicker.  Attractive incentive package.  Competitive total rewards program offers benefits that align with your needs and priorities, no matter what stage of life you are in.  Generous time off and CME allowance, malpractice insurance, retirement contributions and more .  Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness, including a free third-party service for loan restructuring and consolidation. .
