Hospital Employed Opportunity in Beautiful Northwestern Pennsylvania Position is open due to increased volume  Call is 1:5 (very light) Scope of work includes working in a collaborative relationship with our team of cancer care experts at our award-winning Yolanda G Barco Oncology Institute. Clinic is open Monday thru Friday, with generous administrative time available. Strong primary care referral base, both within our primary and secondary service areas. 24/7 Hospitalist coverage perform bulk of admissions to lighten your call. On-Site Interventional Radiology On-Site Pathologist Meadville Medical Center hosts state-of-the-art Radiation Therapy and 2 excellent Radiation Oncologists. Our Radiation Therapy linear accelerator is Varian s True Beam and we offer IMRT, SBRT treatments. Dr. Brian Karlovits is our chief of Oncology Services and he is always on top of the latest technology and is innovative in the growth of our cancer center. There are currently 6 Medical Oncologists. 5 are full time and 1 is part time. We have 1 PA and 2 CRNPs who work closely with the physicians. Our Oncology practice is robust with a high volume of breast, lung, prostate, and colon, and lymphoma -hematologic malignancies. We also see a fair amount of benign hematology patients. We have very little staff turnover and a team of exceptional Oncology nurses. The majority are certified in Oncology nursing.
