General Surgeon - Part Time

Specialty: General Surgery Location: MichiganWe are seeking a board certified/board eligible general surgeon for a coverage need in Michigan. The state is known for its stunning natural landscapes, from the beautiful shores of the Great Lakes to picturesque forests. Position Overview: Shift: 24-hour call coverage, Monday through Sunday, 7 AM - 7 AM Estimated Shifts per Month: 5 Responsibilities: Provide call coverage, consults, and perform surgical procedures in a critical access hospital. Consults in the ED and surgical care as needed. Average hours being called in are low, around 2-3 hours. Privileges: Full and Temporary Privileges available. EMR System: EPIC Requirements: Board Status: Board Certified; Board Eligible Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Licensure: Active Michigan License, DEA Required, CSR License required Additional Skills: Experience in colonoscopy procedures Additional Information: Hospital Details: Small, critical access hospital with minimal average call-ins.
