The 24/7 emergency department is an extension of services for Northwest Health, operating as a department of Northwest Medical Center – Bentonville.The facility also has two negative pressure rooms, designed to isolate a patient who is suspected of having – or has been diagnosed with – an airborne infectious disease. The design is intended to prevent the spread of a disease from an infected patient to others. Additionally, decontamination equipment is available for patients who have been injured by or exposed to chemicals.
