Summary
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the 72d Force Support Squadron Resource Management Flight.

Duties
Manages expendable and nonexpendable supply equipment items for FSS through stock control, requisitioning, deliver and inventory control.
Analyzes such factors as usage rates, inventory, seasonal demands, prices, special projects or program changes.
Establishes and maintains minimum stock levels of all expendable supplies and amenities to ensure adequate inventory of items to prevent work stoppage.
Establishes and maintains the appropriate security of high value items.
Performs pick up and delivery of supplies, amenities and equipment at scheduled intervals to ensure an adequate stock at all work centers.
Salvages broken or obsolete supplies and equipment according to applicable directives and policies.
Ensures maintenance and preventative maintenance are performed on all warehouse equipment and tools.
Acts as alternate FSS Vehicle Control Officer and performs duties necessary to maintain a well rounded program.
Coordinates all NAF and APF hazardous material (HAZMAT) requirements through the base Environmental Office prior to acquisition.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License.
This position requires the incumbent to complete pre-employment drug screening with favorable results. Incumbent is also subject to random testing.
This position requires the incumbent to complete a pre-employment physical with favorable results.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Progressively responsible experience in supply work which provided knowledge of rules, regulations, procedures and program requirements of the local supply organization and the organizations serviced.
Knowledge of supply inventory and accountability procedures and regulations. Experience must have been sufficiently demanding to demonstrate the ability to apply basic analytical methods and techniques to resolve supply problems and/or deviations from normal supply management procedures or program requirements.
Knowledge and ability sufficient to manage a vehicle control program.
Must have knowledge of, or ability to be trained in, oversight of a hazardous material program at the division level.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.

U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation or a signed memorandum indicating the installation's decision on the 3-year residency requirement..
Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.

A probationary period may be required.
Pre-employment requirements must be satisfactorily met prior to Entrance on Duty (EOD).
