FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

Summary You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst at the GG-11 grade level with Navy Information Operations Command, Georgia (Fort Gordon, GA). Learn more about this agency Duties You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration. You will formulate budget and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities, including presenting and defending budget estimates before authorities. You will develop, determine, and interpret budgetary policies and practices. You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organization’s programs and administrative operations. You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets. You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization’s programs and activities. You will review and evaluate budget requests and control/report obligations and expenditures. Requirements Conditions of employment Must be a US Citizen. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Formulation of budget and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities; review and evaluate budget requests, control and reporting of obligations and expenditures. Provide information about, and interprets standard organizational budgetary, accounting, or financial administrative procedures, practices, and regulations. Work in connection with accounting systems; analytical, forecasting, and interpretive functions associated with the management and control of resources or funds. OR Completion of three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
