Description Join CHRISTUS South New Mexico Orthopedic Associates in Alamogordo, NM Position: Physician Assistant Location: Alamogordo, New Mexico Work Type: Full Time About the Opportunity: Team Composition: 4 Full time orthopedic surgeons, 2 Mid Levels, 1 Physical Therapist Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; OR hours vary depending on patient loadCall: On call once every 3 weekendsPatient Distribution: 80% Outpatient; 20% InpatientPatient Volumes: 20–25 patients per day in clinic; Surgical cases on surgery days will vary Requirements: Experience with OR, clinical settings, intraarticular injections, casting, and splinting. Orthopedics certification preferred but not required.We encourage both new graduates and experienced professionals in general surgery to apply Position Overview: As a key member of the surgical team, you will work closely with the Chief of Orthopedics, serving as his first assist in the OR.
