General Surgery Job Openings in Cookeville, TN Surgeon needed to join established and growing practice in Middle Tennessee Middle Tennessee Surgical Specialists is seeking for a dedicated and skilled General Surgeon to join our esteemed practice in Cookeville, TN. Our practice is well-established, with a team of five experienced general surgeons and a strong focus on patient-centered care. Job Responsibilities Perform a wide range of surgical procedures, including bariatric, laparoscopic/robotic, general, and vascular surgeries. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Participate in surgical rounds, providing continuity of care for patients. Engage in community outreach and education to promote health and wellness. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation. Support the surgicalist program by handling office patient calls and emergencies on a 1 in 6 rotation. Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Completion of a General Surgery residency program. Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery. Valid medical license to practice in Tennessee.
