The Position

Roche Diagnostics Corporation seeks a Technical Project Manager in its Indianapolis, Indiana location.

Duties: Within global pharmaceutical and medical diagnostics company, lead activities that are central to migrating and implementing new software technologies within the diagnostic division department. Work closely with both local and global teams to deliver software which innovates processes and improves automation within the Roche IPS teams. The global expectation is to foster a strong relationship with other Roche technology departments and bring clarity to the US affiliate's product requirements. Responsible for setup and installation of technical systems, applications, or process designs for client's purchased or outsourced technology and business process solutions. Manage initial access, map and transfer data, create process documentation, and train or coordinate training for client users. Test and troubleshoot functionality of installed systems; identify and document technical issues to be escalated to product and system integration teams for resolution. Provide feedback based on client experiences to product and professional services teams for product and process improvements.

Education and experience required Bachelor's degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Medical Technology or related field and 5 years of post-baccalaureate and progressive experience in the job offered or as a Software Developer, System Engineer, Medical Technician or a closely related role.

Special Requirements: Employer requires 5 years of experience in the following areas:

  • Healthcare domain integration standards: Health Level 7, American Society for Testing and Materials, Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources;
  • Software As A Service and Single Page Application development and usage;
  • Intersystems Cache and IRIS;
  • Java;
  • Non-Relational Databases;
  • Server and network management using VMWare/VMX, Fortinet, Microsoft AZURE, Amazon Web Services;
  • Laboratory Information Technology processes and workflows;
  • Laboratory Middleware implementations;
  • Process frameworks: Scaled agile framework and Rational Unified Process;
  • Technical skills within product groups such as: Microsoft SQL, Microsoft IIS, Apache, JBoss, Drupal, PHP, MySQL, and Security.

Telecommuting allowed up to 4 days a week.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location for this position of Indiana is $131,976 to $145,248 per year. Actual pay within the range will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
