The Position

Roche Diagnostics Operations, Inc. seeks a Customer Project Manager in its Indianapolis, Indiana location.

Within global pharmaceutical and medical diagnostics company, provide technical product support and expertise to support customer implementation of laboratory informatics database solution. Provide support and guidance for database implementation including supporting product demonstrations, creating concepts for workflow, lab organization and connectivity and determining customer experience/skills to define training needs. Integrate new IT solutions into existing or new workflows. Install and configure IT solutions, connect instruments and hosts and verify connectivity together with local or global representatives. Act as a subject matter expert for local support (lab process and IT solution). Collaborate with and support the department product managers to achieve team goals and deliverables. Act as an interface between North American affiliates and internal global functions such as Development, Marketing, Quality Management and our global and regional support and training organization. Support technical project manager(s) responsible for providing training, hotline and 2nd level support for IT solution and related products among North America.

Position requires up to 50% domestic and international travel, fully reimbursed.

Education and experience required: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Pharmaceutical Science, Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, or related field and 5 years of post-baccalaureate and progressive experience as Customer Project Manager, Resolution Engineer, Systems Analyst or closely related position.

Specialized Experience: 5 years of experience with the following: Knowledge of clinical laboratories needs and IT solutions features/benefits to meet those needs; Software development experience using Intersystems Cache Object Script and SQL; Experience administering and maintaining Intersystems Healthshare databases; Knowledge of regulations and in-vitro diagnostics standards; Complaint and inquiry management; and Product Lifecycle Framework.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location for this position of Indiana is $117,576 to $164,600. Actual pay within the range will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
