The Position

Roche Diagnostics Operations, Inc. seeks a Talent Strategy Partner in its Indianapolis, Indiana location.

Within global pharmaceutical and medical diagnostics company, partner with business leadership and key stakeholders to identify skill and talent needs to ensure that required talent is retained and allocated to meet business requirements. Make strategic recommendations and ensure strategy implementation to achieve the organization's diverse talent pipelines that meet the business's short- and long-term business goals. Strategy area includes internal and external talents analysis, with a primary focus on Talent Pipelining, Talent Management and Talent Strategy Consulting. Establish and evolve Talent Management practices, policies, and procedures across the organization in the areas of employment and employee relations to ensure compliance with local laws and HQ standards. Apply effective change management strategies for company-wide change initiatives related to talent practices. Develop talent pipeline strategy across teams, conduct people and capability assessments, and lead readiness reviews and identify talent opportunities. Identify, evaluate and engage internal and external talents. Define talent practices processes (i.e.: people discussion, talent pool and succession planning approach, critical positions) from methodology to strategy and actively help drive, co-create and facilitate people discussions related to strategic pipelines. Foster collaboration and shared accountability for outcomes with appropriate TSPs and other key partners (i.e.: IWS (Integrated workforce strategist) partners, Enterprise BPs (business partners), SWP (Strategic workforce planning) community). Partner within and across chapters to leverage resources, tools and technologies, data and analytics to inform pipelining strategies. Can telecommute up to 5 days per week. Position involves 10-20% Domestic and International travel, fully reimbursed.

Education and experience required: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Management, Business Management, Human Resources or closely related field and 5 years of experience in job offered or as human resources business partner or closely related position within a global pharmaceutical or medical diagnostics organization.

Special Requirements: Full term of experience (5 years) must include:

  • Partnering with company stakeholders to develop and implement talent pipeline strategies on a global level.
  • Establishing Talent Management practices, policies, and procedures for employment and employee relations in compliance with local laws and company policies.
  • Leveraging people metrics and providing guidance on effective talent strategies.
  • Leading projects in talent management/identification that drive talent practices.
  • High customer orientation and strong understanding of global pharmaceutical or medical diagnostics organization.
  • Partnering successfully with senior stakeholders and building long-term and trustful relationships to enable identification and engagement of talents in new/ different markets and build a strong strategic pipeline for the future.

Travel required: 10-20% Domestic and International, fully reimbursed. Can telecommute up to 5 days per week.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location for this position of Indiana is $145,662 to $173,300. Actual pay within the range will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
