**Hospitalist Opening in New Mexico** Located in ***Silver City, NM*** - Las Cruces 100m; Albuquerque 240m HOSPITALIST: * Requirements: ACLS, PALS * Board Requirements: BCIM * Shifts: 7 On / 7 Off Block Schedule * ICU Beds: 6 * EMR: Meditech * Daily Census: 22 * Hospitalist- Double Coverage 7am 7pm; * Alternating Night Call * Physician: 1 Provider on Call 24 Hours: This Provider Does All the Admitting for 24 Hours * Following morning this provider goes to hospital and rounds on all his own patients and finishes any other in house work that needs to be done until 7 PM * Hospitalist Responsible for Managing the Patients in the ICU * Procedures Required: Vent Management * Hospitalist will have help with procedures * Patient load (seasonal) summer: 16 pts/day- 10 pts/day winter Come practice in an environment where physicians are appreciated and rewarded for dedication and hard work by the community and hospital administration.
