Summary Who May Apply? US Citizens currently residing within the commuting area of CHIEVRES Air Base, Belgium (not ordinarily resident in Belgium). Possesses satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-13, to include a Tier 1 background investigation. Successfully complete a health screening. Immunizations required as a condition of employment for the health and safety of those in the facility. Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, stretch, crawl under vehicles, and work in tight spaces or tiring and uncomfortable positions. Must be able to lift and carry equipment up to 40 pounds (lbs.). Must be able to occasionally lift items 50 lbs. or more with mechanical devices or assistance from other workers. Must currently possess or have an ability to obtain a valid driver's license before the date of employment. Qualifications Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent from a trade school. Must possess six (6) months of progressively general work experience. Must possess a minimum of six (6) months of specialized experience in automotive work. Must have the ability to use standard and metric automotive hand and power tools. Must have the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
