NES Health seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our practice at Russell Medical Center located in Alexander City, Alabama.    About the Hospital  43 Bed Community Hospital  Level III Trauma Center  Meditech and Electronic T EMR  Coverage includes:?  Radiology during the day and telerad at night?  Interventional Radiology (Mon-Fri 8a-4p)?  Pediatrics?  Anesthesiology?  Ultrasound??  OB GYN?  Hospitalist?  ENT?  Cardiology?  6 bed ICU    About the Program and Hours  12 Bed Emergency Department  17,000 Annual Visit ED  10% admission rate from the ED  ED Physicians respond to floor codes  ED APPs are directly employed by the hospital  12-hour shifts (6:30a-6:30p and 6:30p-6:30a)    Qualifications  Active Alabama license in the state or ability to attain unrestricted state license  Candidate Must be BE/BC in EM, IM, or FM  Active ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS    About the Community   Tucked into the southernmost foothills of the Appalachians and surrounded by lakes, parklands and a National Forest, Alexander City is the kind of town that fills residents with pride and visitors with envy and awe.
