Cardiac Anesthesiology opening in IowaLocated in Mason City, IAFull-Time & PermanentSeeking a BE/BC Anesthesiologist to join hospital.- The group includes seven physicians and twelve CRNAs and provides Anesthesia coverage for a progressive hospital and ASC in North Central Iowa. - Daily work assignments and call rotation are divided between designated staff and physicians. - The selected candidate will provide coverage for general cases, Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho, Pediatric and OB. - There is a Level 2 Trauma ER but no Pain Clinic. The selected candidate will also provide oversight of CRNAs.- This position will cover Cardiac surgeries and provide Cardiac call Monday – Thursday. - General Weekend call will be six weekends per year and one holiday per year. - Call pay for Cardiac procedures Anesthesia performed in the hospital when on call. - If no Cardiac cases are scheduled during the week, the provider will be assigned general cases.- Cardiac Anesthesia Fellowship required, or TEE certification accepted.Comp:- Highly competitive compensation package: 1-yr income guaranteed $460,000 - $140,000 bonus package- Moving allowance up to $15,000- Excellent benefits package - $10,000 annual CME allowance- 40 business days off/year, on-call 1/6 holidays and 1/5 weekends- Employer paid professional liability insurance- Health Insurance premium paid, plus $2,500 allowance for medical costs- Short and long-term disability coverage paid- Profit-sharing plan, and optional 401(k)Location:A little bit about the community- **Mason City** is a family-friendly Midwest community of approximately 28,000+ people that offers the perfect work-life balance of suburban and rural settings with easy accessibility to the big city amenities of Minneapolis, MN, and Des Moines, IA and only minutes from Clear Lake, IA, one of Iowa's largest recreational lake communities.
