Emergency Radiology Program with Growth and Leadership Opportunity
Job Description
Come to Detroit, Michigan and join a busy hospital-based radiology program in a great location with
a dedicated and experienced staff. Detroit Medical Center (DMC) is an award-winning medical center
comprised of four adult hospitals and a free-standing pediatric hospital. Our practice sites include
Level I and Level II Trauma Centers, tertiary care adult and pediatric referral centers and
community hospitals.
We seek a well-trained radiologist to read emergent neuroradiology, thoracic,
abdominal, and musculoskeletal imaging studies. The intended coverage model is a ‘1 week on, 2 weeks
off’ system. A voluntary option of internal moonlighting will also be available. The candidate is
expected to provide clinical services and actively engage in teaching for residents/fellows and
participate in quality improvement and value initiatives.
Detroit Medical Center is home to one of
the Midwest’s largest residency programs and trains medical students from two established and highly
regarded medical schools.

250,000 patients are seen every year.
Academia - Receiving has a long-standing relationship with
Wayne State University. Over 95% of DRH physicians serve on the faculty and as department heads at
Wayne's medical school. The hospital is a preferred site for resident training, including students
from internationally known institutions. Approximately 50% of the physicians who practice in
Southeast Michigan trained at DRH.
