Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Falcon Dunes Golf Course on Luke AFB. This is a Flexible position with no guaranteed hours or benefits. Subject to uncommon tour of duty. Must be able to lift objects weighing 25 pounds and occasionally up to and over 40 pounds. . Learn more about this agency Duties Performs cashier duties while operating beverage cart selling a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and prepackaged snacks around the golf course from a mobile service vehicle. Stocks cart daily and registers inventory. Breakdown and clean cart and equipment. May be required to assist in setup and teardown for banquets. This is a drug testing position; incumbent is subject to random testing for drugs. Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment physical. Be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate and/or complete food handler's training. Be of legal age (19) for serving/selling alcoholic beverages in Arizona. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience in responsible clerical or office work with an ability to perform common arithmetic problems and making change when receiving payments from customers. Experience in cash handling and customer service. Prior experiences as a Waiter/Waitress or bartender are desirable but not required. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
